Everything can be made vegan. The possibilities are endless. These plant based brownies are perfect for those who have dairy, egg, and nut allergic reactions. These plant based brownies are rich, indulgent, fudgy and satisfy the most intense chocolate cravings. Take a bite and the joy factor goes through the roof. Perfect on their own.
Ingredients:
- 5 tbsp flax meal
- 5 tbsp water
- 3/4 c maple syrup
- 1/3 c coconut oil
- 1 c oat flour
- 1/2 c cacao powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c hemp milk
- 1/2 c hemp seeds
Method:
- Add flax meal and water into a large bowl
- Mix about 1 minute, until flax forms a jelly-like texture
- Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl
- Mix everything well
- Grease an 8x8x8 glass container with some coconut oil
- Add the brownie mixture to the glass container
- Sprinkle hemp seeds or cacao nibs on top
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
- Bake for 30 minutes
- Let brownies rest for about 15 minutes after removing from oven
